Leaving...On a Jet Plane...
One thing I really believe in is continuing education, because it's so important to stay up-to-date on what is going on in your industry.
So, with conference season in full swing, I'm packing my bags and heading to two conferences this fall - BlogPaws and BlogWorld.
BlogPaws, being held in Denver, is a week away and focuses on the pet industry. I attended their inaugural conference in April, and learned more than I had at many other journalism and writing conferences the past seven years I've been attending them. When they announced a second one in the same year, I jumped at the opportunity to go again.
It's my first time attending BlogWorld, the world's largest social media conference. After recently accepting a position as a social media coordinator at a public relations firm in New Jersey, this seemed like a natural fit.
