Knicks Practice and Yankees Presser

A friend of mine recently launched a sports website, Back Sports Page, that takes readers beyond the stadium and into the lives of players to learn what they do off the field. I have served as a media consultant for the site and to him since the start, and last week, I tagged along with him to shoot the Knicks practice and a Jorge Posada press conference at Yankees Stadium where the catcher and his wife announced exciting news about their foundation.

I shoot with a Nikon CoolPix P100. It's not a digital SLR, but it has numerous options and for my budget it gives me the quality photos I need for a varity of uses. I just need to always remember to change the settings! During the Knicks practice I couldn't understand why my photos were coming blurry. Well, I had it on the wrong setting. Sure enough, as soon as I put it on the correct one, my photos were fine.
